Sacachispas Fútbol Club is an Argentine entity founded on October 17, 1948. It is based in the Villa Soldati neighborhood, in the city of Buenos Aires. He currently participates in the First National, second category of Argentine soccer. Dispute the classic "malevo" against Deportivo Riestra, both institutions from the south of the City. Its name was taken from the film Pelota de rag, an adaptation of the fictional stories that the Uruguayan sports journalist, writer and screenwriter Ricardo Lorenzo "Borocotó" published in the magazine El Gráfico under the title of Stacked. Borocotó himself, founding member of the club, was the one who devised the shirt and its colors. On December 18, 2021, he was promoted to the First National for the first time, the second category for teams directly affiliated with the Argentine Football Association. Its stadium is named after Roberto "Beto" Larrosa and has a capacity of around 5,000 people. Important Argentine soccer figures passed through the club, such as: Eduardo Luján Manera and Alberto Poletti (world champions with Estudiantes de La Plata) and Maximiliano "Chanchi" Estévez (ex-Racing Club, among others). José Zorzenón (who had a stint as coach at Club Atlético River Plate in 1967 and spent as a player at Club Atlético Independiente) who was champion with Sacachispas in 1954 and was promoted to the First Amateur has also passed as Technical Director.
